the proof. I have stuck in a reference to
P.P. II. 39 (d)2 which gives a ratio of 622 1⁄2 :1
and decided to hedge rather more, about the
earlier period and χαλκός ἰσονόμος. We
began Oxyrhyncus III today - thank Heaven
