Thanks for your card. I am hoping for the
article on the Macedonian calendar soon.
In the Tebt. unpublished 107 (leases of the 251
Eureg)2 what month are they written in and
is the rent to be paid in the 25th or 26th year?
There seem to be contradictions3 as to the priests
in the 25th & 26th year, which might be got over if
your papyrus was written in the 25th4 (revenue regnal) year
but the 26th5 revenue year.

Yours B.P.G.

Gradenwitz has just arrived. Sept. 27.

1. This cannot be a reference to Papyrus 107 It must be a reference to Mummy 107, which yielded P.Tebt. III 1 (815)

2. The 25th year of the reign of Ptolemy III Eurgetes.

3. 'c' in 'contradictions' has been corrected through overwrite.

4. Possibly corrected from '25' to '26' with Grenfell simply writing the '6' over the '5'.

5. Possibly corrected from '26' to '25' with Grenfell simply writing the '5' over the '6'.
